1944-2023 John Ballard went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, May 26, 2023 at Clyde Cosper Veterans Home in Bonham, Texas. John was born on July 10, 1944, to A.T. Ballard and Opal Flowers Ballard in Denison, Texas. He graduated from Denison High School in 1962. After graduation, he joined the United States Marine Corp, Lance Corporal, E3 at the time of his discharge. He then worked for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Fisheries Division, retiring after 33 years. He then worked at the bookstore of Austin College and as a teller at American Bank of Texas.
