The party continued Sunday for the Texas men's basketball program, which beat Kansas for the Big 12 Tournament title Saturday in Kansas City. Late in the afternoon, the team gathered at Moody Center to watch the NCAA selection show, where the Longhorns learned that they are a No. 2 seed in the Midwest region. The players then went to the South Mall in the heart of the Texas campus, where they celebrated lighting the UT tower to honor a second Big 12 Tournament championship in the past three years.
